Novi, Michigan – The FZ40 compact milling machine, based on the FZ33, offers efficient machining of steel, cast iron, and titanium. Like the FZ33 compact, it has a rigid monoblock structure that allows it to be set up easily and rapidly.

The FZ40 compact work area is 2,400mm x 2,900mm x 1,250mm. It features a VH60 2-axis milling head with spindle power of 63kW, spindle speed of 15,000 rpm, and a torque of 300Nm. It is available with the HSK-A100 tool holder.

A strengthened base plate can hold workpieces weighing up to 16 metric tons. Eight additional mounting elements are provided for greater stability.

The FZ40 compact can machine steel components quickly and economically on 5 axes. It achieves short throughput times, high availability, and high precision.
