Schurter’s new Piezo electric switch, PSE, is installation-ready with its pre-assembled 15-meter-long cable. The potted polyurethane cable offers installation flexibility with the highest IP67 protection according to IEC 60529 and IP69K according to DIN 40050-9.
Schurter’s new PSE electric switch is waterproof from the switch surface to its electrical connections. The housing is made of 1.4462 stainless steel, which is characterized by its high resistance to corrosion, essential when used in areas with high humidity. The PSE electric switches offer a long lifetime of 20 million actuations, customary to the technology known for its robust performance. The solid-state technology, combined with the hermetically sealed housing, makes the PSE electric switch ideal for use in particularly harsh and inhospitable applications.
The use of switches in various sanitary applications requires not only the right choice of switch technology but can often require long cables in between actuator and appliance. Applications include medical technology, food processing or similar industrial applications where the highest degree of robustness and reliability are required.
The PSE electric switch with cable offers ring illumination with a total of 7 possible display colors. The supply voltage has a range of between 5VDC to 28VDC and maintains a constant brightness.
