Rittal’s AX and KX small and compact enclosures

Auto sales finally got back above pre-recession levels in 2014 with August sales reaching a seven-year high. After six long years, sales levels have matched 2007’s pace. More importantly, several research groups expect 2015 continue to grow. Today’s Motor Vehicles allows marketers direct access to this healthy industry with continued growth.

AX and KX small and compact enclosures are:

Streamlined: Fully digitized processes with 3D data and QR codes on panels to be machined allow for seamless monitoring and simplify the order process. Streamlining the number of parts makes engineering easier while maintaining the same diversity of dimensions.

Flexible: Modular designs and optimized cut-outs and sizes help to better utilize the space inside the enclosure. Rails and integrated locators simplify interior installation. All panels are supplied loose, and assembly is largely a tool-free process. The new wall mounting bracket can be fixed in place from the outside in next to no time.

Fast: A reduced number of parts simplifies logistics and warehousing. And every enclosure that leaves our plant is ready for integration into downstream automated and mechanical processes.

Safe: Integrated locators throughout the housing ensure the interior installation rails can be precisely positioned and securely fastened – even under dynamic loads. The protection category is maintained after wall mounting brackets are attached, and internationally recognized protection classes and approvals mean these enclosures are ready for global use.
