Ophir StarLab 3.30

Auto sales finally got back above pre-recession levels in 2014 with August sales reaching a seven-year high. After six long years, sales levels have matched 2007’s pace. More importantly, several research groups expect 2015 continue to grow. Today’s Motor Vehicles allows marketers direct access to this healthy industry with continued growth.

The Ophir StarLab 3.30 from MKS Instruments is a laser measurement software that turns personal computers (PCs) into multi-channel laser power/energy display stations. The software supports expanded network access via the Ophir EA-1 Ethernet Adapter or Quasar Bluetooth Adapter, user-defined pass/fail limits, and multiple pre-defined startup configurations.

StarLab 3.30 provides a graphic display of data in the form of line plots, histograms, bar charts, and simulated analog needles; data can be displayed separately or in multiple data sets on one graph. Advanced measurement processing functions include power/energy density, multi-channel comparisons, and user-defined mathematical equations. User-defined pass/fail limits allow selection of the upper and lower bounds of an acceptable measurement. Working in conjunction with the software’s Screen Capture feature, the user can generate final inspection reports. Users can also pre-define a variety of different startup configurations.

StarLab 3.30 supports an expanded set of network adapters. The Ophir EA-1 Ethernet Adapter connects Ophir’s smart laser sensors directly to an Ethernet network, no PC connection required.
