Mapal’s HPR400 reamers are multi-bladed tools that improve cost-effectiveness thanks to faster application data and straight forward insert changing. Extremely accurate insert seats improve reliability, allowing manufacturers to keep inventory and reconditioning costs to a minimum.
The indexable inserts in the HPR400 plus come with four cutting edges instead of just one previously. Thereby optimal use of the cutting material occurs. The inserts’ cutting edges are manufactured to that high precision, reduced stock level requirements. Reconditioning costs and the subsequent cost-per-part are also further reduced.
