THINBIT DEEPGROOVE

Auto sales finally got back above pre-recession levels in 2014 with August sales reaching a seven-year high. After six long years, sales levels have matched 2007’s pace. More importantly, several research groups expect 2015 continue to grow. Today’s Motor Vehicles allows marketers direct access to this healthy industry with continued growth.

THINBIT, manufactured by Kaiser Tool Company, is pleased to announce the expansion to its selection of DEEPGROOVE support blade style tooling. The new tools are designed for internal grooving with a minimum bore diameter of 1” (25mm) and are compatible with 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm inserts.

To best match customer requirements, the tools are available in four neck styles: 3” reach with 0.375”(10mm) cutting depth, 3” reach with 0.500”(13mm) cutting depth, 1.5” reach with 0.375”(10mm) cutting depth and 1.5” reach with 0.500”(13mm) cutting depth. The elliptical cross-sectional area of the neck provides maximum rigidity.

These tools, along with the entire THINBIT line of cutting tools, will be on display at IMTS 2014 in Booth #W-2172. For more information regarding these tools and the entire THINBIT line, please visit our website at www.thinbit.com.
