Auto sales finally got back above pre-recession levels in 2014 with August sales reaching a seven-year high. After six long years, sales levels have matched 2007’s pace. More importantly, several research groups expect 2015 continue to grow. Today’s Motor Vehicles allows marketers direct access to this healthy industry with continued growth.

At Fabtech 2019 booth #A2153, BLM Group USA will demonstrate the LT-Free that can cut 3D formed or shaped parts such as bent tubes, hydroformed tubes, welded assemblies, and stamped or flat sheets, so operations such as cutting, drilling, punching, and milling – typically carried out in sequence on various machines – can now all be performed on a single machine, eliminating set-up time, reducing material handling, eliminating work in progress (WIP) inventory, and downsizing space needed for storage.

The LT-Free is available with powers up to 5kW, table dimensions of 59″ x 39″, axis stroke of 116″, 37″, and 29″ (X, Y, Z), and can machine mild steel, copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel and galvanized steel. Four different configurations are available based upon throughput and part size.

Also at Fabtech 2019 in booth #D46532, BLM Group USA will be demonstrating its 3-Runner modular tube forming machine, highlighting its ability to straighten, form, and cut from coil stock all in one piece of equipment. The 3-Runner will be shown in the context of a complete production cell that will also include tube bending and end-forming operations.
