Nissan unveils updated Maxima

Auto sales finally got back above pre-recession levels in 2014 with August sales reaching a seven-year high. After six long years, sales levels have matched 2007’s pace. More importantly, several research groups expect 2015 continue to grow. Today’s Motor Vehicles allows marketers direct access to this healthy industry with continued growth.

New York, New York – Nissan has unveiled a new version of the Maxima sedan at the New York International Auto Show.

The Maxima’s styling showcases Nissan’s new design language – including V-Motion front end, signature boomerang lights, kick-up C-pillars, and unique floating roof appearance.

The Maxima’s 3.5L VQ-series V6 has been redesigned with more than 60% new parts. With 300hp, Maxima has a high specific output of 85.7hp/L. The revised engine helps Maxima achieve an anticipated 15% increase in highway fuel economy to an EPA estimated 30mpg.

Technology features include standard NissanConnect with navigation, featuring an 8″ touch-screen display, along with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and SiriusXM Travel Link applications, Online Search with Google, and other connectivity features.
