Dallas Industries, a manufacturer of press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, purchased U. S. Machine Company, Inc., a coil feed business in Fraser, Michigan.
The acquisition includes the patents, engineering drawings, and copyrights of the coil feed business unit of U.S. Machine.
The move provides Dallas Industries enhanced equipment options for markets using heavy gage material. This move also opens potentially new markets as Dallas opens a nearly 24,000 ft2 facility nearby its current location.
“This move gives a pivotal boost to our company’s capabilities and is further expression of the recent growth of our comp,” Dallas Industries CEO Willie Chacko says.
“The history and reputation of U.S. Machine was well known and well received in the industry,” Dallas Industries President Joe Gentilia. “The unit we have purchased will extend our expertise in coil feed systems and allow us to keep up with market demands and global competition.”
Dallas Industries’ produces conventional and compact coil feed lines, servo feeds, air feeds, heavy-duty straighteners, and coil handling equipment.
